MGM Rewards Points

As most of you know there’s no going to Vegas without signing up for a players card somewhere. I ended up with the what used to be called MLife Card. Now MGM has renamed it to MGM Rewards.

Normally you can only stack up points while you are spending in Vegas. With the MGM Rewards credit card you can get points anywhere.

You also instantly get Pearl status on your players card. The Free Self Parking comes in handy when you are bouncing from casino to casino. No need to keep your receipts either because the points go straight into your account.

Lastly, think about how you want to stack up points. Everyone enjoys Vegas differently so do what is best for you. Food and Restaurants can sometimes be worth more points then gambling. If you are betting big and winning I’m sure they will offer you a comp room. Bit…If you like to put yourself on a gambling limit then you will collect more points on food and entertainment.

Why should I get a MGM Players Card when I’m in Vegas?

By using your card and stacking up points you will not only get the rewards points. You will be seeing some deep discounts on MGM Hotels. The weekends will always be market price, but if you want to save a few bucks try this if you can. Book your trip from Sunday-Wednesday or Monday-Wednesday. I have booked this before with all days comped. You can play around with the calendar and see where the deals are.

My Top Tequilas!

There are levels to Tequila. These are my favorites right now. There are different price points so do what works for you. They are all good in my opinion.

1. Mandala Dia de Muertos SE Extra Anejo
Retail: $600-$800

The smoothest Tequila you will ever taste. It has a little bit of a sweet taste and goes down smooth. There will be no one who doesn’t like the taste of this Tequila.

2. Cincoro Anejo
Retail: $130-$140

This is of course the tequila with Michael Jordan as an investor. You can taste the quality of this tequila. Very light bite at the end but still holds true to the tequila flavor we love.

3. Komos Anejo
Retail: $120-$150

I personally keep this one on ice in the freezer. Pour this one out chilled and enjoy! This is another top grade tequila. There is a slight minty after taste you get along with the hard notes of the tequila.
